State Senator Gary Siplin (D – District 19) launched the Senate in the Street campaign at the end of last year as a way to connect with the community. Since it's inception, Sen. Siplin has spent many afternoons around Central Florida listening to people's concerns and criticisms.

One point that stood out was the lack of jobs especially in the Sanford area. So to alleviate the issue, Senator Siplin coordinated two job fairs. Each will provide job seekers the opportunity to meet with employers and take a step toward independence.

On Monda, May 21, the job fair is in Sanford at the Sanford Civic Center at 401 E. Seminole Blvd.

Then again on Tuesday, the job fair will be in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl Varsity Club at 1 Citrus Bowl Place.

Each will run from 11a.m.-3p.m.
