Keeping Your Weight in Check In the short time she has been 1st lady, Michelle Obama has made her mark not only in the White House, but in our lives as well.
Her initiative on childhood obesity, though met with a few frowns from those who do not think the 1st lady should tell them what to eat, have forgotten that it was President Kennedy in the 60's who demanded children have physical education in school.
So this week STAR 94.5 will talk about obesity as it affects minority children, youth and young adults. What the White House is calling for nationally and what we can do in our community to keep our kids from a life long of illness by just keeping their weight in check.
