I can't believe we've been here since Sunday and have another 4 days left in Aruba. I've shared new words and wonderful sights; but it's the people we've met that are really making our trip unforgettable. Amazing couples like John and his wife from California, who cruise here all the time and have given us their spin on Aruba.
Yesterday we rode the bus downtown and did some sightseeing and shopping, you know typical tourist stuff... It was great learning the currency exchange and they even have knock-off's here too. We ate some of the best ribs and pasteichies (beef patties) at Iguana Joes. I can still taste their special sauce...
Last night we threw on some jeans and walked down to the entertainment district, Paseo Herencia. What an experience! We saw a light & water show to some of Michael Jackson's best hits. That was most definitely fantastic. We also ate at a Taste of Heaven, and it was just that divine.
Today was a beach and spa relaxation day at the Hyatt Stillwater Day Spa. I had an oxygenated facial (that's the one the stars get :-) ) and reflexology. Monique had a body scrub, massage and reflexology. Afterward we took another walk and came upon a radio station. Of course we had to stop and have a tour... The staff at MAGIC 96.5 is great! I can't believe how much energy I have here because I'm still rearing to goooooo.
Tomorrow's adventure is snorkeling and parasailing with Red Sail Sports at the Hyatt. Ya'll pray for me 'cause I can't swim! Be sure to check the photos daily. Bon Nochi for now
