During Election Year, STAR Cares makes it a priority to inform our community on the importance of voting and why our voice matters.
On January 31, 2012 the Presidential Preference Primary Election will be held. The results determine who is on the ballot in November. Although the Democratic Party candidate is uncontested, there are nine candidates vying for the opportunity to represent the GOP.
In Orange County, an important Job Creation Initiative/Tax Abatement Referendumwill also be featured on the ballot that relates closer to home. It provides an incentive which [will be] used to attract businesses, entrepreneurship and capital investment in [our] communities. (Source)
