8 Year-Old Boy Marries 61 Year-Old Woman In what was an African ritual to please the ancestors, an 8 year-old boy married a 61 year-old woman that he said he loved. Sanele Masilela and Helen Shabangu both of Zimbabwe had a very large wedding as a symbol that the boy will get married again once he gets older. Both families were okay with the ritual marriage, even the woman’s actual husband and children. Check out the entire story here.
