Comedian Mike Epps made a sweet gesture to the widow of the late Richard Pryor. When asked to play Richard Pryor in an upcoming movie about jazz legend Nina Simone, Epps called Jennifer Pryor to ask for her blessing before taking on the role. Jennifer Pryor thought the move was touching and respectful and is very grateful toward Epps. So grateful in fact that Pryor is considering Epps to play Richard Pryor in an upcoming move about the late comedian’s life. Jennifer who is producing the still developing film thinks Pryor would be proud of her choice. But one person she definitely would not consider for the role is Eddie Murphy. Her reasoning; Jennifer believes her late husband would never want Murphy to play him.
