12. Whitney Houston/Dolly Parton - "I Will Always Love You"
On Oprah's Next Chapter, Chissy Houston and some of the Houston family spoke to Oprah about missing Whitney Houston. Whitney's brother Michael even admitted that he takes resposibility for introducing the singer to cocaine in the 70's. Cissy Houston also spoke about her book ‘Remembering Whitney: My Story of Love, Loss, and the Night the Music Stopped’ which hit shelves today. In the memoir, Cissy speaks of her struggle to hold onto the daughter that she once knew before the partying and drugs. She also talks about her thoughts about Bobby Brown not being a good match for her daughter and how Whitney probably would have beat her addiction if it wasn’t for Brown. The book touches on Whitney’s childhood, the beginning of her career, as well as her daughter Bobbi Kristina. Houston says that she had to write her own book so that people would not believe the untrue stories of Whitney that we circulating.
