Since 2007, STAR Cares has taken listeners on a day long journey to explore Black History in Central Florida. Thanks to you, we're now in our sixth year and expanding to historic sites across the state.
This year we are going to the African American Heritage Celebration in Pinellas County, FL (Clearwater/St. Petersburg). Travel back in time through the Heritage Village, where visitors experience an interactive museum suited for the entire family. On site there will be performances throughout the day as well as food trucks and local vendors.
Before signing up, please note the following:
The Black History Tour is Saturday, February 23rd, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (2-hour travel time)
A continential breakfast will be provided by STAR Cares, however, lunch will be on your own. (Food vendors will be on site)
Space is limited to 50 people. If you are booking for a large group, please contact 321-281-2079.
