Description: The UCF Russian Club, with the partnership of the Russian Ballet Studio of Orlando and the UCF Multicultural Student Center, will be hosting UCF’s first annual Russian Ballet Spring Gala. This event will take place on Sunday, March 10th, at 6pm in the Pegasus Ballroom. This event is designed to promote diversity and arts on the UCF campus, provide opportunities for students studying Russian, and to open doors for young dancers of the Russian Ballet of Orlando. UCF’s own flute quartet, The Aurelia Flutes, will open with their own signature performance. Following The Aurelia Flutes, students from the Russian Ballet of Orlando will be performing numbers showcasing their skill and mastery of Russian ballet. This event is free of charge for all students, faculty, staff, and the Orlando community. However, tickets are required to get into the event. If you are interested in attending this event please visit the UCF’s Russian Club table outside of the Student Union every Wednesday, attend by-weekly meetings, located in SU 224 from 4-6pm, or contact one of the Russian Club officers to pick up tickets. While the event is free, voluntary monetary donations are welcome. Donations will support the Russian Study Abroad scholarship fund and the Ukrainian Down Syndrome Organization. For more information please contact David Mole at russianclubucf@gmail.com or Ellie Baialieva at ebaialieva@knights.ucf.edu . More information about the Russian Club can be found on their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/RussianClubOrlando?fref=ts . Contact: David Mole Email: russianclubucf@gmail.com
