Local historian Liz Coursen is planning to take us on a trip back in time, marrying Florida's history as a back-woods swamp in the 1900s with its transformation as a vacation paradise in the 1950s, using museum-quality vintage Florida postcards to tell the tale. Examples of postcards will be chronologically shown and described, using Florida's history as a backdrop. Stay for a Q&A following the talk. Book sale and signing will follow the program.
