Many women choose to strengthen the mother/child bond and give their babies the best in nutrition by breastfeeding. This 2 ½ hr class covers the basics of breastfeeding and is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Moms and Dads will learn the steps to breastfeeding success, infant cues, breastfeeding management, father’s role, sore nipples and engorgement, expressing and storing milk. Fathers are encouraged to attend. What to Bring: Snack and drink for your break time. All other supplies will be provided for classes practice exercises.
