Becoming a Support Group Facilitator Lupus Foundation of America Southeast Florida’s support groups are regularly scheduled in-person or virtual gatherings of people living with Lupus, their family, friends, or caregivers. The groups are run by trained facilitators.  Are you interested in starting a group in your area or becoming a co-facilitator of an existing group? If so, we invite you to attend our next facilitator training on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Orlando, FL. Once potential facilitators fulfill the prerequisites, they are eligible to attend this training program that focuses on group dynamics, how to organize and sustain a successful support group, and LFA policies and procedures. If you are interested in becoming a facilitator and/or attending this training, please email info@lupusfl.org or call 561-374-7780 or 1-855-905-8787.
